Announcing Robert Burney is not coming to the UK!
May 27th, 2017 - I have decided to cancel the planned trip to the UK for October. As we were closing in on finalizing the plans for my trip there, a major change took place in my life as I got custody of my 12 year old grandson. At first it wasn’t clear if he would be living with me in the fall or not, so I pushed the trip back from September to October based on the possibility that he would still be with me. Since then it has become clear that he will be living with me - and that taking an 8 or 10 day trip to UK would present significant challenges in getting taking care of him during that time covered. If we would have had people signing up for the retreat and putting down deposits in the over 2 weeks since we posted the page, that could have impacted this decision. But since no one has signed up, it seems as if it is part of the Divine Plan to go ahead with the cancelation. Hopefully we can make this trip to the UK happen at some point in the not too distant future. Maybe even next summer and I can bring my grandson along with me. We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Retreat during the weekend of 6th to 8th of October 2017 at Standlake Ranch in Oxfordshire. We will be welcoming you after 5 pm on Friday 6th of October and we will bring the retreat to a close by 4 pm on Sunday October 8th. We have worked very hard to find Retreat premises that were reasonably central but also affordable and relaxing. Standlake Ranch is a beautiful healing retreat at the heart of Oxfordshire which overlooks a picturesque lake and is surrounded by 20 acres of woodland. Facilities include Conference facilities, dining room and kitchen, plus 10 twin or family rooms with single beds and 2 dormitories decorated to a Western theme.
For the people who choose the dormitory style rooms the retreat will cost £200 per person full board for the weekend. However we have an early bird offer of £170 if 50% of your deposit is paid by 31st of May. For people who want an individual shared room the retreat will cost £250 per person - where some rooms have lake views, ensuite baths/showers - these will be on a first come first served basis. The early bird offer will be £200 for these rooms. People who do not want to share a room can book themselves a room at a local bed and breakfast and will be charged £150 full board for the weekend with an early bird price of £130. Once the early bird deposit is paid you will be emailed a registration form with questions about dietary needs, transportation needs, roomate requests, etc. Full amount must be paid by 31st of July. Deposit is refundable if Robert’s trip is canceled for any reason. It is non refundable if the trip does happen - but can be used for one of the other appearances Robert will be doing while in UK or can be used in exchange for books, MP3 audios, phone / Skype counseling or subscription areas of Joy2MeU website.
In addition to the weekend Retreat, Robert be offering his Day Long Intensive Training on either the Saturday prior or after the Retreat Weekend - and will be offering the same Training over 2 evenings at a location in London during the week he is in the UK. As soon as enough money has been raised to cover the deposit for the retreat venue and to make it possible to make deposits on the other venues these will be scheduled and announced.
